

He started to work as a copy-writer at his friend's advertising agency. After spending six months at Dibrugarh and five months at Shillong, he got bored of the job, quit and came back to Hyderabad. He worked as a door to door sales representative for Navbharath Cigarettes and later passed the Probationary officers exam in State Bank of India. He joined Master of Arts (MA) in English from Andhra University PG Centre, Kakinada.

But he was removed from college in the second year as the entire English medium students went for a strike.

He waited for one year and joined Bachelor of Arts (BA) Literature at Andhra Loyola College in Vijayawada. He finished his schooling and wanted to do medicine, but never got through. He received a Government of India scholarship and got into Hyderabad Public School. He moved to Hyderabad along with his family at the age of ten. He was put up in a boarding school at the age of five. He is the only son to his parents and has three sisters. Gunnam Gangaraju is born and brought up in Kakinada. Along with his friend Venkat Dega, he founded the company Just Yellow, which started off as an IT services firm and later ventured into TV and film production. His other notable works include Little Soldiers (1996), Anukokunda Oka Roju (2005), and Amma Cheppindi (2006). He received two National Film Awards for the films Aithe (2003) and Bommalata (2004) that he produced. He is best known as the creator and co-producer of the TV sitcom Amrutham (2001–2007), widely considered to be the greatest Telugu comedy TV series of all time.

Gunnam Gangaraju is an Indian producer, screenwriter, and director known for his works in Telugu cinema and Telugu television. She also acted in the TV shows Abhishekam (ETV) and Rama Seetha ( Zee Telugu),Ranivasam(GeminiTV). Mounica acted simultaneously in south Indian films Oka Oorilo, Stalin, Annavaram, Vijayadasami, Josh, Vettaikaran, etc. Mounica has received a lot of lead opportunities in television, including roles in Laya, Raktha Sambandham, Kunkuma Rekha, Arundhathi, Janaki Weds Raghuram, etc. She won hearts of many with her natural performance. She also acted in Chukkallo Chandrudu (2006) as the sister of Sadha which brought the opportunity of a lead role in Just Yellow Team's Radha Madhu, which aired on MAATV (2006–08). Mounica made her debut in Tollywood with Mahesh Babu starrer Athadu (2005). Her big break was in MAATV's show Radha Madhu as Madhu (Madhulika). Mounica is an Indian film and television actress who works predominantly in Telugu movie and television industry.
